Chaaratazah Achad - Mitri Down DJ Ahrak BMore Mix Ahrak Yasharala
In the Southern stronghold of the Truth Music movement, one name continues to rise with undeniable power, purpose, and presence: Matazadach. Once a young artist chasing industry success, now a skilled lyricist and kingdom-driven minister through music, Matazadach has become one of the most respected voices in Truth Music, and is widely recognized as one of the genre’s “Kings of the South.”
With fire in his delivery, scripture in his lyrics, and humility in his heart, Matazadach’s music is more than art—it’s anointed artillery in a spiritual war.
Humble Beginnings, Unshakable FoundationRaised in the South by a young single mother, Matazadach’s upbringing was shaped by strong family ties and deep musical roots. His aunts were like sisters, his uncles like brothers, and his mother a rock of resilience. Early exposure to the sounds of the early 2000s—artists like 50 Cent, Stack Bundles, T.I., Jeezy, and Young Dro—ignited his love for hip-hop.
But it was his brother, Dawadah Arak, who planted the seed of artistry in him at just 13, writing Matazadach his very first song. From that moment, a fire was lit—not just for rhymes, but for storytelling with purpose.
In time, Matazadach and his family began creating secular music that started to gain traction. Yet even with momentum on their side, something deeper was calling. That call was to truth, and everything changed.
The turning point came with the family’s acclaimed project, Spiritual Warfare—a declaration of war against the lies of the world and a bold proclamation of faith in the Most High. It was then that Matazadach realized his music had to go beyond entertainment. It had to minister.
In 2021, he released his debut solo project, The Transition Pt. 1—a transparent glimpse into his journey from worldliness to righteousness. The project was raw, real, and relatable. But it was just the beginning.
By 2023, Matazadach had fully stepped into his role as a spiritual general on the mic, dropping Growth in March and following it up with Growth II in December—both albums layered with lyrical wisdom, southern grit, and scriptural fire.
With headlining performances at major gatherings like Truth Music Fest, Kingdom Family Jam Fest, and many more, Matazadach has become a household name in the world of set-apart music. But for him, fame is not the goal. Obedience is.
“My goal is to be used by the Most High for His will and to make His name great.” – Matazadach
Every verse is a call to repentance, every chorus a battle cry for the saints, and every project a reminder that this music isn’t about personal gain—it’s about Kingdom legacy.
Matazadach is not just preaching through lyrics—he’s speaking life and accountability into the community of believers. His message to the saints is both sobering and empowering:
“Remember the mission; remember why you were called into this walk! Keep the commandments and the faith of Christ and nothing will stop you. Winning souls and exhortation in love is The Way of the gospel. If you fall someone else may fall so stay strong!! YOU GOT THIS.”
He anchors his charge with the strength of scripture:
Philippians 4:4–13 – “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Legacy in the MakingMatazadach’s rise is far from over. With a growing catalogue, a loyal following, and a burning desire to serve the Most High, he continues to inspire men, women, and youth alike to walk in obedience, endure the trials, and fight the good fight.
He is not just an artist. He is a minister through music, a watchman with a mic, and a servant on a mission.
Stay ready. The South awakened another cub, one of the kings, a true follower of The Messiah, and his crown is righteousness.
