Shami! (Listen and Obey)

This declaration of love and obedience is a powerful call to love without boundaries, not only to love the Most High, the Messiah, and the Holy Spirit, but also to love one another out of obedience to the One who loves us.

 

“Hear O Israel the Lord our God is one and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all the heart and with all thy soul and all thy might” – Deuteronomy 6:4-5 (KJV1611)

It calls us to love those who are hard to love, whether we know them or not, it calls us to love those who can’t repay us, those whose beliefs are different, whose culture is different- it calls us to be selfless… It calls us to a powerful faith, a superhuman one that doesn’t sweat the small stuff, one that loves hard, laughs big, and is comforting to all those who encounter it.

Have you ever met someone whose presence was so warm and genuine that you felt comfortable but also challenged to be better all at the same time?

Every day we should Shami several times a day! Love hard. Laugh Big. Selflessly, without limits…
It costs a lot and you may never be repaid on this side, but Oh the joy and treasures that await when you stand before The Most High Ahayah, His Son, and The Holy Spirit!!!!
