My Favourite Scripture

“He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, That seek thy face, O Jacob..” ~ Psalm 24:4-6

 

Shalom and blessings! 

I am Tahar Labah Chaamadah, which translates to “Pure Heart Desired”. I humbly serve as a producer and show host.  I see this service to Abeng Radio, Shofar Radio, and Yasharahla Media as a partnership with The Most High to make His glory known as we travel across the airwaves on different media platforms, reaching every person in every country that has an ear to hear. 

From a young age,  I was taught to reverence and love God and the person of Jesus Christ, whom I now correctly and affectionately know as Ahayah and Yasha, respectively. 

Although I felt and believed through the years that I “loved” God and remained Bible-conscious to a great extent, I later learned I was not loving Him as He commanded me to in John 14:15. It was not until I was attending a Bible College in Columbus, OH that I read this nugget of scripture: “If you love Me, keep My commandments”.  Before that day, those words had never illuminated in my spirit the way they did on that Sunday morning as I sat on the church pew waiting for a dynamic service to begin. In that moment, I pondered on the scripture and repeatedly asked The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, “what commandments are you referring to?…which specific commandments do I follow to show and prove my love for you?” I knew in those moments that I was missing something… something within reach but deeper than I had been given up to that point.  That “something” I came to understand a few years later was “The Law”. 

 

Fast forward a couple of years, the Spirit of The Most High revealed to me the understanding of the paganism in common church practices and the popular holidays never prescribed by but abhorred by The Most High God. Being one who always had a persistent desire to please, see, and be with God, I had a choice to make. I knew I loved Him more than the traditions of men and decided to press the unsubscribe button to any pagan practices. 

Today, I continue to walk out my own salvation in truth and love for our Creator and my fellow brothers and sisters all around the world. 

My show, Heart of Worship, was created to inspire and encourage believers of every nation to surrender themselves daily in worship unto the Godhead. It is my prayer that all grow closer and closer to Our Creator, His Son, and the Holy Spirit during this time of adoration.
